About us
PURPOSE
The purpose of the Boston Portuguese Festival is to promote the image of Portugal and the visibility of the Portuguese community and its ancestry in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to promote and the education of the community regarding Portugal and the Portuguese community and its ancestry, and to engage in activities that for charitable purposes consistent with its mission.
MISSION
To provide awareness of the Portuguese community its culture, ancestry in the greater Boston area while promoting Portugal.

OUR LOGO
The Festivals logo is based on an original work by Taunton (Massachusetts) based Portuguese graphic designer Paula Velho Cabral. It draws its inspiration from the early representations of the globe such as the one gracing the national coat of arms with which Portuguese history is so intimately acquainted

The Boston Portuguese Festival Inc. is a registered 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization under the IRS Code and incorporated under the laws of the State of Massachusetts. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law and will be acknowledged. IRS Tax ID# 35-2655523
